Our Story
Hympala is a streetwear and culture store in Hasselt, Belgium. The shelves hold brands we trust: Arbor, NASA, Gramicci, BeWider, Obey, plus a rotating mix of smaller labels. Some are anchor brands you'd find in any good store; others are harder to track down outside specific cities. Nothing makes it into the store unless someone here would wear it.

Our Origin
Hympala started as a resale operation working out of a bedroom in Belgium. The early years were sneakers: buying, selling, learning the trade by doing it.
A pop-up event grew the audience past what resale alone could handle, and the permanent store opened in Hasselt in 2019. Since then, the shop has expanded into apparel and Hympala's own designs alongside the imported brands.
Our Values & Mission
What gets stocked at Hympala has to clear a higher bar than "it sells." We're not trying to be a department store with something for every customer who walks in. The result is fewer racks than most shops you'd compare us to, and a longer life for the pieces that do make it onto the floor. Walk in and every item came from a buying decision that someone took time over.

About the Founder
Geneau Lambrichts founded Hympala. He spent his teens and early twenties in resale before opening the permanent store in Hasselt in 2019.
