Pompeii Brand started in 2014 when four college friends in Madrid pooled €18,000 and Googled "how to make shoes." Cosme, Nacho, Jaime, and Jorge sold their first sneakers out of a van. Twelve years later, Pompeii operates five stores across Spain, moves over 70,000 units a year, and has expanded from footwear into a complete streetwear line. Bloomberg profiled them. The origin story stuck because it was real.

What Pompeii Stands For

The brand's tagline — "We Champion Walking" — sounds simple. The idea behind it runs deeper: walking as constant movement of soul, body, and mind. Pompeii builds product for people who move through cities on foot. The sneakers remain the core: comfortable, well-made, accessible in price.
